Imitation Essay

What I Did

This project was an individual project, for a University course. For this project, I took a section from a novel and had to analyze it for literary terms, troupes and schemes. I then imitated the writing using the found aspects but about a different subject. I followed that with an analysis paper regarding the literary aspects. I researched many literary aspects to determine which were being used in the section I had chosen. My final deliverable was an imitation and analysis essay that looked at the literary aspects and how to use them effectively in rhetoric.

What I Learned

Through this process, I learned language and editing, as well has how to write effectively. I learned about literary troupes, schemes, and terms, how to identify them, and how to use them effectively.

What Problems I Overcame

I ran into problems with determining which aspects were being used and which term a section fell under. Through this, I learned to identify such troups quicker and with more accuracy.
